Why go abroad to play sports?
Competing and traveling abroad is a unique experience that
athletes of all ages will enjoy. Not only is a sport tour a
chance to see some of the most captivating cities in the world;
it is a way to expose athletes to different lifestyles and ways
of thinking.
The combination of sports and culture challenges athletes to
excel on the field, and promotes team building. These educational
and athletic experiences are sure to broaden individuals’ minds
on a whole new level.

Are there payment plans available for these tournaments/camps?
There are typically two payments required for each sport tour
package. There is a deposit that secures a space for the hotel
and airfare and the remainder of the package is due closer to
the date of the tournament. However, additional payment options
are available under certain circumstances.

What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policies will differ for each event in terms
of the deposit dates and final payments. There will, however,
be a clear timeline to illustrate the payment process for each
event, which will include the percentage of retention between
each pay period.

What is included in the price?
We promise nothing but the best customer service from the moment
we pick you up at the airport, until we drop you off at the end
of your tour. Here is a sample of what is included for the sport
tour and tournament in Prague:
- Round trip airfare from various U.S. airports to Prague Ruzyne
Airport.
- Pick up and drop off from Prague Ruzyne Airport.
- 9 night stay
at The Marriott Hotel with a buffet breakfast included.
- Entrance
to the Women’s World Cup games.
- Minimum of 4 games guaranteed.
- Optional mini-clinic
- Friendly lacrosse competitions
among other teams.
- Metro passes for each player.
- Excursions into Prague city
center:
- Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral
- Mala Strana (Lesser
Town)
- Charles Bridge

What if we want to do more or less sightseeing?
SSTI is dedicated to making each sports tour a once in a lifetime
experience for everyone involved. Therefore, if there are
additional activities in which you would like to participate,
or if you would prefer having more free time to explore, we
will cater to your travel needs.

Is it possible to extend or shorten our sports tour?
For each tournament and team camp, SSTI will create a standard
itinerary. We are happy to shorten or extend these plans for
you, but individuals will be responsible for covering the additional
costs.
If any travel plans are changed after the deposit has been made;
additional expenses must be covered by the individual.

Are travel and health insurance necessary
to purchase?
Yes, all individuals (players, coaches, family and friends)
are required to purchase travel and health insurance prior to
their departure. Proof of purchase will be collected at the
same time as the final payment.

Who will we be competing against?
At this time, SSTI is organizing events in which any team can
participate. Lacrosse and soccer squads will compete against
other American teams they may not otherwise face during their
regular seasons.

Are there packages available
for family and friends?
Yes, SSTI will put together package deals for family and friends
who would like to participate in these sports tours. We are
happy to plan day trips and excursions outside of the main cities,
as well as activities that will coincide with the team events.
