About Sherry Sports Tours International:
Your Best Choice for Premiere Sports Travel
The SSTI Philosophy
 Sherry Sports Tours International is a premiere sports travel company
founded in 2008. Sherry’s vision was to give high school, collegiate
and post collegiate athletes, the opportunity to participate in soccer
and lacrosse team camps and tournaments all over Europe.
SSTI places a unique emphasis on the importance of competition and
culture. While many tour companies focus on either the social or
athletic aspect of a trip abroad, at SSTI, we
promise to organize events that will expose athletes not only to soccer
and lacrosse, but to the rich history of cities all over the world.
SSTI provides participants a means to explore away from the athletic
fields. Not only does the company organize and
facilitate tournaments and camps, we also incorporate trips and social
activities. From tasting
ethnic dishes, to participating in scavenger hunts all over European
cities, we promise to provide well-rounded athletic and educational
activities for everyone involved.
Our experience traveling and competing abroad puts us in a unique
position to create premiere sports travel for athletes of all ages
and levels. We have lived in or traveled to the
various sites in which we host our tours, and are therefore well equipped
to custom design premiere sports tours for all kinds of athletes. Whether it is through
guided tours, team building exercises or additional clinics, we are
happy to work with you to create an itinerary that will best suit your
team.
Laurie Sherry -
President
Laurie Sherry grew up in Towson, Maryland, where she started
playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse at the age of 6. A three-sport
athlete at The Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore, she moved on to earn
her Bachelor’s degree and play lacrosse at Santa Clara University,
in Northern California. Upon college graduation in 2006, she moved
to Europe to pursue traveling and teaching.
During the summers between 2004 and 2008, Sherry worked in London,
England, serving as a teacher and counselor at the American School
in England. Upon graduating college, Sherry spent her time in Prague,
where she continued to play lacrosse in a league with Czech National
team members. In 2008, Sherry decided to combine her love of sports
and travel, and founded the premiere sports travel company, SSTI.
